Finding Life Beyond Survival

As a first-generation Vietnamese American born to a family of POW survivors and refugees, trauma is woven into my family's history. I know firsthand the weight of loss, betrayal, and the daunting question: How do we continue living in the wake of it all? And perhaps even more importantly, how do we find joy again?

In my work with refugees, internationals, and third-culture kids, I am deeply familiar with the space between merely “not being dead” and truly “being alive.” The fact that you’re here tells me that you’ve already taken that first step toward something more—and I’d be honored to walk with you on that journey.

Strengthening Relationships, Rebuilding Connection

I believe the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. This is why I love working with couples! Whether you’re navigating addiction, recovering from infidelity, or simply seeking deeper connection, I offer specialized support to help you move forward. I also have extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, creating a space where individuals and couples can explore and nurture expanding identities.

Couples therapy is an investment in your relationship. You don’t have to wait until things feel dire to start turning toward each other. Many of the strongest relationships are built through intentional, guided conversations—ones that help you break patterns, heal old wounds, and move toward a deeper, more fulfilling partnership.

Caring for Those Who Care for Others

I am especially passionate about supporting frontline healthcare professionals. Having worked within the American healthcare system, I understand firsthand the toll of secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout. The truth is, patients thrive when they have a dedicated support team fighting for them—shouldn’t you have the same? Seeking care for yourself isn’t selfish; it’s essential. When you are cared for, you can better care for others.

Supporting Artists and Creatives

Before becoming a therapist, my early training began at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I worked with undergraduate and graduate students navigating the emotional complexities of creative work. I know firsthand that the artistic path is not just about talent—it’s about resilience. Whether you’re facing creative block, self-doubt, burnout, or the pressures of making meaningful work in a competitive field, I offer a space where your struggles are understood. Art is deeply personal, and the emotional weight of putting yourself into your work can be profound. My goal is to help you reconnect with your creativity in a way that feels authentic, sustainable, and fulfilling—because making art shouldn’t have to come at the cost of your well-being.

Exploring Faith and Spirituality in Therapy

For those who wish to integrate faith and spirituality into their healing process, I offer a thoughtful and compassionate approach. Whether you’re deconstructing long-held beliefs or seeking deeper spiritual meaning, I have specialized training in helping individuals navigate these transitions with clarity and purpose. I believe spirituality—at its best—is a practice of deep reflection, moral imagination, and compassionate service, I am here to support you as you explore what that means for you.

Wherever you are on your journey, I invite you to step into a space of growth, healing, and possibility. You are not alone, and you don’t have to do this work by yourself.

If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to connect! Reach out for a free consultation, and let’s explore how we can work together."
